Zense GmbH, based in Zurich, Switzerland (“the Agency”, “we”, “our”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data. No personal data is sold to third parties.

In addition, our website is hosted on the platform Squarespace (Squarespace Ireland Ltd., EU / Squarespace Inc., USA). Squarespace processes website usage data, form submissions, log data, and technical information as part of its hosting and website infrastructure services. 4. International Data Transfers

If data is transferred to service providers located outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA, we ensure adequate protection through adequacy decisions, contractual safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses), or comparable mechanisms.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above or as required by law.
In particular:

  • Project and client data are kept for as long as there is a business relationship or a potential need to reopen or further develop a project. We may also retain such data beyond project completion where we have a legitimate interest (e.g. documentation, evidence, or reference purposes).

  • Accounting and contract data are retained for at least 10 years, as required by Swiss commercial and tax law.

  • Marketing data (e.g. newsletter subscriptions) are retained until you withdraw your consent or object to processing.

  • Data submitted via our website form (e.g. email addresses) is stored within the Squarespace architecture and retained only as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, and generally no longer than 12 months after the last communication.

Once the data is no longer required for these purposes, it will be deleted or anonymized, unless legal obligations or overriding legitimate interests require longer retention.

6. Data Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure. Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption to secure transmissions of confidential content (e.g. contact forms).

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience and analyze usage.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC (USA), to analyze website usage. IP anonymization is activated; your IP address is shortened within the EU/EEA before transmission. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to Google servers in the USA and shortened there.
Google processes this data to evaluate website usage, compile reports, and provide related services. Data may be transferred to third parties where legally required. Your IP address will not be merged with other Google data.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser software or by installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

Google Maps

We use Google Fonts provided by Google LLC to ensure a consistent visual presentation of our website. The fonts are not hosted locally; when you access our website, your browser connects to Google servers to load the required font files.
